Choosing the Right Mark
When it comes to representing the University’s identity, choosing the right logo is essential. Pitt’s branding system includes a range of marks, with three primary marks at its core:
- Institutional Mark – Official shield and signature - including unit lockups.
- Informal Mark – A simplified version for informal use.
- Pitt Script (Spirit Mark) – A vibrant symbol of Pitt pride, used for athletics and student-focused efforts
Additional marks:
- Merchandise Marks – Guidelines for branding on products and apparel.
- University Seal – Reserved for formal documents.
