The Office of University Communications and Marketing (UCM) is driving on-brand content creation across the University by providing strategic access to Lucidpress, a web-based design and brand templating platform. Lucidpress is an ideal tool for communicators, designers and others who have need to quickly generate high-quality, on-brand marketing and promotional materials.  Learn more about the benefits and processes of using Lucidpress in the FAQs.

If you need a print or digital asset to promote your Pitt program or initiative, and you would like to request a Lucidpress license, please complete the Lucidpress License Request form. UCM will assess your needs and license availabity.

If you already have access to Lucidpress, please follow the instructions below to log in. Once you’re logged in, you can watch the tutorials or view the the free video user courses in the Help Center of Lucidpress to get acquainted.

Log in to Lucidpress

Once you have a license, log in to Lucidpress via Pitt Passport, the University’s single sign-on service (SSO).  Follow these steps to access Lucidpress.

  1. Go to
  2. In the upper right corner, click once on Log In. This will send you to the Lucidpress login page.

  3. Enter your primary University of Pittsburgh email address, then click once on the blue Next button. This should open Pitt Passport.  Note: For more information about what is meant by a primary email address, please visit the Lucidpress FAQs.

  4. Enter your University of Pittsburgh login credentials.

  5. Click once on Submit.

  6. Authenticate with Duo Mobile’s multifactor authentication. You now should have access to Lucidpress.
