The University seal should be reserved for diplomas and official institutional documents. Commencement collateral that is official (diploma) or that pertains directly to the graduating student or students may bear the seal. Graduation programs, which list graduating student names, fall into this category.

For the Pittsburgh campus, The University Store on Fifth has partnered with the Office of University Communications and Marketing and with Balfour to provide University-approved commencement regalia and graduation packages.  The print materials obtained from Balfour are in keeping with the above guidelines.

Other University campuses should follow the above guidance.
